I went here for a NiceToMeet dinner. The atmosphere was OK, but very crowded. I read a lot of Google and Facebook reviews that were positive, but I was very disappointed in the food. The lettuce in my Caesar Salad did not taste fresh, the Veal was overcooked and not a great cut. The gravy was watery, like they didn't drain the pasta well. Service was very good!
First time and the experience was incredible. The octopus special was one of the best items I've ever gotten at a restaurant. The food is very simple and unfussy, but extremely well executed and you can tell they are using good quality base ingredients, like high quality olive oil. I had a delightful time. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and set the tone. Would love to visit again. Adorable spot that isn't pretentious, but knows how to make flavors go bang.
This place was a tiny little Italian joint! Super intimate seating! We were basically sat in a hallway, my colleague had to duck each time someone walked in or out of the door. Rapidly changing menu, so make sure to ask about the specials. I got the chicken Parm, the piece of chicken was rather generous served over Al Dante housemaid pasta. Very tasty very delicious and went super well with a little bit of Parmesan cheese and crushed red pepper. The bill came out handwritten, so you know this is an old-school joint.
